Although turmeric may be a great way to cure Hidradenitis Suppurativa, there are other alternatives that can help compliment this treatment.
Here are some useful tips that I have learned along the way in my journey in treating Hidradenitis Suppurativa:
Exercise often – maintaining a healthy weight is key for managing Hidradenitis, because excess fat is more susceptible to rubbing together hence causing breakouts
Dress loosely – avoid wearing tight clothes to reduce friction with skin
Stop smoking – with all the negative impacts smoking has on your body, it’s worse for people with HS. Smoking has been known to trigger more flare ups.
Maintain good hygiene – Keep yourself very clean, avoid germs, wash your hands, use antibacterial soap, and just have over all cleanliness awareness.
Use Aloe Vera – One of natures best gift for your skin. Aloe Vera is known for its natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Applying some daily to infected area can provide some relief.
and finally….what changed?
The real cause of Hidradenitis Suppurativa is still a mystery, therefore we must always be looking for anything that can give us a clue. If you just started having symptoms for the first time, try to see what kind of changes happened to you recently, whether its diet, weight, clothing….
…anything that is different from your normal daily operations. Perhaps new soap? new brand of cheese? even mental stress?
Just take some time and think about it, don’t rule anything out, write it down and brain storm if you have to, because its entirely possible that something changed which triggers the disease and that can give you a better clue as to how to prevent it!
In the meantime…
keep taking turmeric…and read my review about it!
